NWISD will be hosting a mandatory substitute training Thursday, July 20 at the Intermediate campus 9:00 am – 2:00 pm. Please see the attached flyer for details. You will not be eligible to substitute until you complete training.

If you are new to the district or have a returning student that you need help getting registered for the 2023-2024 school year, please stop by the Administration Office @ 355 Front Street. Summer Registration dates and times are July 11-14 & July 17-21 from 9:00am-2:00pm.

We are very excited to invite you and your incoming Bulldog to our Freshmen/New Student Orientation! All incoming 9th graders and high school students new to the district are encouraged to attend.
We look forward to meeting you and your student(s) on Friday, August 4th, 2023 at Freshmen Orientation.
Check-in & packet pick-up in the gym begins at 5:30pm.
We have a large group of current staff and students who have worked hard to put together a fun and informative orientation. Parents and students will rotate through 5, 15 min informational sessions.

High school will allow students to be dismissed beginning at 1 pm (today 5/8/2023) due to power outage. Students will only be dismissed if contact with parent is verified. All other campuses are unaffected and will operate on normal schedule.

NWISD will run busses at 2:30 pm today only to ensure that all routes can be completed and busses return before another round of anticipated heavy rain begins. General dismissal is still normal time but as always please make arrangements with your campus if you have a concern.
My deepest apologies! Good Friday is April 7 not 6th. We are out the 7th, 10th, and 11th. Not a type but a calendar error on my part!

Good morning. Due to train stopped on tracks all busses are running late this morning but they are running! Expect heavy traffic until train is moving again.
Please see our note in live feed or social media concerning the Board of Trustees approving moving forward with a hybrid calendar for next school year. We will have a final calendar in March.
The 2021-2022 Federal Report Cards are now available. Please see the attached letter with more information.
New Waverly ISD is hosting a community wide informational meeting about the possibility of our district moving to a 4 day school week. If you are interested in finding out more information, please join us on Thursday, January 26th at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will take place at New Waverly Elementary Cafeteria.
At this time we are experiencing an internet outage. Our internet provider is working on the problem. Please be patient when trying to contact the campuses during this time. We will notify everyone when the internet is fixed.
